Accessible directly after the Bac, EBI's preparatory engineering cycle aims to help students acquire autonomy and learn the fundamentals. The engineering cycle lasts 3 years. Punctuated by projects, international exposure and interaction with the professional world, it aims to prepare future EBI engineers for the fulfilling careers that await them after graduation.
The final two years of the Ingénieur Grande Ecole engineering program prepare our engineering students for their engineering degrees and their future careers. It is during these two years that they specialize by choosing a major from among the 5 on offer.
This engineering major is designed to train engineers to work in the biomedical sector, on vaccines, biotechnologies, enzyme kits, cell models... These are team management positions in laboratories.
This major in the engineering cycle provides the skills needed to formulate consumer products in the laboratory: mixing reagents and molecules, assessing appearance, fragrance, color, texture and taste. The aim is to create a product that is both useful and enjoyable for the consumer.
This engineering major trains engineers to implement the most economical and environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes. Their role is to manufacture on a large scale what has been formulated in the laboratory, in small quantities. They work mainly in production units.
This engineering major trains quality managers to guarantee product repeatability. The quality manager analyses the production batches, writes procedures, and ensures that the European or international standards related to ingredients are followed by the teams. It also oversees product safety.
This major in the engineering cycle trains engineers to master the marketing aspects of launching a new product range. Market research, visual identity research, packaging design, wording definition and scientific knowledge of the product are the strengths of this training program for our biological engineers.
