Cergy Campus
The EBI has set up in Cergy in a district undergoing renewal. Numerous projects have been launched over the past 4 years, offering an attractive living environment for students and families. The campus of our biology engineering school is close to numerous housing units, local shops and the RER A station.
An exceptional eco-responsible campus
Since 2016, EBI has moved into new premises in the heart of the Quartier de l’Horloge business park, accessible to people with disabilities. With its ISO 9001 certification for all its teaching and research activities, our biology engineering school has been awarded the DD&RS (Sustainable Development & Social Responsibility) label since 2019.
6000 m²
The premises are spread over 6,000 m²: laboratories, lecture theatres, classrooms and project rooms are there to provide our future engineers with professional training
11 laboratories
The research laboratories are located alongside the teaching laboratories for practical training: molecular biology, microbiology, processes, cell culture, chemistry, etc. 2 panels are used to test products before they are put on the market
Student Life
The students have two lunch areas and a lounge, where they can eat or rest. The premises are open from 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday for all our students.
Associations
The BDE (Bureau Des Elèves) has a room at its disposal to support the associations that surround them. The EBI has set up a music studio to encourage the students’ musical sensitivity. Each year, 1 to 2 artists’ exhibitions take place in the lounge.
Green space
Located on a hectare of land, the buildings of our biology school are surrounded by greenery: students can enjoy tables and benches for lunch, discussion or work. To relax, the ping-pong table is at their disposal.
