Continuing studies
At EBI, each year, 6 to 10% of our graduates continue their studies beyond the engineering cycle in biology. These additional courses, lasting from one to three years, allow them to specialize in various fields, acquire advanced expertise, and strengthen their professional project through high-level internships.
Specialized Master
Business Schools

Engineering schools
After their engineering program in biology, some students choose to continue their studies and specialize in other engineering schools, such as AgroParisTech (Specialized Master’s: Food, Health, Environment or Management of Innovation in Agri-Activities and Bio-Industries), or UTC Compiègne (Specialized Master’s: Biomedical Equipment).
Doctorate
EBI students who want to can access research master’s programs (M2) offered by universities, either alongside their 5th year or after getting their biology engineering degree. These programs are a great way into research and let you join a doctoral school. So, after finishing the engineering cycle, graduates can continue with a three-year PhD. This path leads to a doctorate and opens up career opportunities in both academic research and R&D in companies.
