In the newspaper Le Parisien on March 21, 2025, air fryers, or airfryers, were highlighted for their ability to cook food with little or no oil thanks to the circulation of hot air, thus offering a healthier alternative to traditional frying. Our colleague Dr. Rabah Azouani, Research Lecturer in Process Engineering, although not directly involved in the study of air fryers, could provide insight into their operation through his research on heat transfer and industrial processes. These devices perfectly illustrate the shift towards healthier eating, supported by ongoing technological advances.
