Road Safety Challenge

The EBI student group has been selected as one of 7 nominees to take part in the 7th edition of the Road Safety Innovation Challenge in Paris. The Innovation Challenge rewards the three best student initiatives that can contribute to road safety.

They pitched their projects to a panel of professionals on January 24, and the awards ceremony took place at the Ministry of the Interior on Thursday March 23, 2023.

EBI with the OP’N’SAFE concept, an eco-responsible prevention car accessory, to avoid accidents with other vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians when opening the driver and passenger doors, wins 1st prize in the Road Safety 2023 innovation challenge and were presented with a cheque for €12,000 to finance the project.
