EBI confirms its positive momentum in the 2026 ranking of engineering schools published by L’Étudiant. The institution has gained 11 places and is now positioned at 122nd, thus continuing its progress among French engineering schools.

EBI also ranks 12th among private engineering schools-EESPIG.

This progress reflects the strength of the EBI model.

This evolution reflects the consolidation of the school’s position in several dimensions assessed by the ranking. As every year, L’Étudiant analyzes numerous indicators to compare engineering schools:

  • Research and academic excellence: 14.5/20
  • International: 9/30
  • Social openness and CSR: 3/14
  • Professionalization and employment: 24/35

The results obtained by EBI illustrate the relevance of its educational model focused on biotechnology, health, agri-food, cosmetics and the environment, as well as its close link with companies in the life sciences sectors.

A training program geared towards employability

The ranking also highlights the schools’ ability to prepare their students for the job market. On this point, EBI benefits from recognized strengths:

  • A high proportion of internships and professional experiences
  • Numerous industrial partnerships:
  • A high rate of job placement after graduation

These elements help to enhance the school’s attractiveness to students wishing to specialize in the strategic fields of biotechnology and the life sciences industry.

A dynamic of continuous development

The progression in L’Étudiant’s ranking is part of an overall development strategy for EBI: strengthening academic and industrial collaborations, internationalizing courses and continuously evolving programs to meet scientific and societal challenges.

This new ranking confirms EBI’s momentum and its ambition to consolidate its position among French private engineering schools specializing in life sciences.
