Immersion in a country, away from one’s French surroundings, is the important key to progressing to the ‘Current Level’ successfully. But the major asset of an international stay is the discovery of a new culture with its traditions, its food. And if you travel throughout your stay, you will be overwhelmed by the magnificent landscapes.
Internship in Canada
“I had the opportunity to work within a dynamic team, which allowed me to develop my technical skills and gain a better understanding of local practices. The Quebec culture also taught me a lot, particularly in terms of communication and collaboration in a multicultural environment. I appreciated the warm welcome of the locals and the beauty of the city, which made my stay even more enjoyable. This internship allowed me to broaden my horizons and build valuable professional relationships.”
Academic exchange in Malaysia
“During my first year of the engineering program, I had the chance to spend two semesters on an academic exchange at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Kuala Lumpur. This experience has been a true source of enrichment, both in terms of knowledge and encounters, adventures, and memories. It was an exceptional year, which gave me the opportunity to discover a beautiful country, to immerse myself in the culture of Southeast Asia, but also to learn more about myself and to push my limits.”
Academic exchange in South Africa
“My academic exchange at Nelson Mandela University in South Africa allowed me to discover a new culture and a new way of studying and working. By adapting to this diversity, I was able to develop intellectually and professionally. This year in South Africa taught me a lot on a personal level because I had the chance to visit historical Apartheid and South African sites. Adapting to another university system was also very educational. In general, stepping out of my comfort zone and going to this country was a huge success and a great learning experience that benefits me every day.”
Academic exchange in Australia
“My semester at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, was a very enriching experience. I had the opportunity to take various courses such as Marine Biodiversity Conservation, Plant Interactions, and Oceanography, with field trips. The campus, large and beautiful, offers many activities, including clubs and associations, one of which is dedicated to international exchange students. Brisbane is an ideal city for studying: it is big enough while being more affordable than other large Australian cities.”
Internship in Spain
“I had the opportunity to complete a two-month internship in Barcelona, Spain, in the medical devices sector. I was fortunate to develop my skills in the field of gas, while participating in exciting projects and collaborating with industry experts. On a personal level, I was able to travel across Spain, particularly to Madrid and Sitges, and discover Spanish culture (casas bar, sporting events, etc.). This immersion also allowed me to improve my Spanish and become more open to other cultures.”
