EBI launches an apprenticeship program.
EBI is expanding its educational offerings by now providing work-study options for the final two years of its Engineering program (specializing in Biology, Biotech, and Bio-industries) and its Bachelor’s program in Biotechnology. This development reflects a commitment to meeting the needs of companies in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, which seek graduates who combine scientific expertise with significant professional experience.
This approach to apprenticeships is based on a progressive process of professionalization. Before entering a work-study program, students gain corporate experience through internships, enabling them to discover the realities of the field, develop their skills, and refine their career plans.
Alternating between academic study and corporate assignments acts as a powerful accelerator for skill development. It enables students to put their knowledge into practice, strengthen their technical expertise, and cultivate the organizational and interpersonal qualities required in the professional world. This extended immersion also facilitates a faster and more sustainable entry into the job market.
By implementing work-study programs across its two curricula, EBI reaffirms its commitment to training professionals who are immediately ready for the workplace and to offering pathways aligned with corporate expectations and industry trends.
