EBI is setting up in Dijon.

EBI is continuing its expansion with the upcoming opening of a new campus in Dijon—a strategic location that will reinforce its commitment to serving the life sciences industries. Scheduled to open for the start of the 2027 academic year, this new site will host an engineering program specializing in bioproduction and biotherapies.

This ambitious project will eventually accommodate 180 engineering students in the SULLY Santenov building—a future hub dedicated to education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the health sector. EBI will be co-located with CESI and Groupe IMT, creating a structured environment that fosters synergies between higher education, research, and industry. The project is supported by Dijon Métropole and the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region.

The choice of Dijon reflects a strategy of proximity to a particularly dynamic ecosystem. The region brings together numerous industrial players, research centers, and innovative companies specializing in health, biotherapies, and biotechnology. Located at the heart of the Dijon university hospital campus—and developed in collaboration with the Université Bourgogne Europe and the Santenov Dijon Bourgogne biocluster—the future campus builds upon existing synergies in education, research, and innovation.

With this new location, EBI reaffirms its commitment to keeping pace with industry trends and helping develop the skills sought by life sciences companies, aligning closely with the needs of the bioproduction and innovative biotherapy sectors.
