Welcome to EBI

What most strikes those running EBI, is the overwhelming energy of its staff, students and alumni. In ten years, EBI has become the education reference in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors, an essential stepping stone in the environmental sector and it now enjoys a significant reputation in agribusiness. What's more, beyond the realm of its typical employment sectors, EBI has provided its alumni with the necessary tools to enter more mainstream industrial sectors such as car manufacturing, aeronautics, electronic and computing equipment, or the energy generation sectors, and to enjoy highly successful careers.

Students who choose EBI all have one thing in common : they are fascinated with the complexity of all biological phenomena and are willing to make the necessary efforts to analyse and understand them and apply their knowledge to their chosen sector. Their appreciation for complexity makes them multi-talented and particularly adaptable to a perpetually evolving industrial environment. They also enjoy international careers that require the ability to apprehend cultural differences serenely and with conviction in order to manage projects efficiently.

Using biology in industry does not simply mean developing a descriptive approach to physiological and pathological phenomena. It is essential to increase one's knowledge by striving to understand the technologies companies use, simply in order to be able to guarantee the high quality and safety of the products marketed worldwide.

We know that our students are not only well-trained postgraduates. They are also sharp professionals who are appreciated in their workplace for their human qualities, team skills, patience with their co-workers and creativity when things get tough. These are the foremost qualities of our candidates, who are eager to become responsible managers, but they are also the fruit of the education they receive. The entire teaching and administrative staff devotes its time and energy to each of our students.

EBI's future lies in that of its students and alumni. Since 1992, we have had the ongoing pleasure of watching them perpetuate the school's ideas and values far and wide. We know that, as EBI students, they have enjoyed a highly motivating, modern course with attentive teaching staff and a fulfilling student life.

I therefore encourage you to join our students and alumni or to simply build an industrial project partnership with our professors. Industrialists and students have put their faith in us to help them achieve their professional goals and they are the living proof of our shared success.
